Zak Jackson is an emerging musician and filmmaker whose work bridges the cinematic and the experimental. Drawing on a background in jazz, electronic music, and sound design, Zak crafts emotionally rich scores that bring stories to life - from intimate indie films to immersive visual projects.

With a deep sensitivity to narrative and texture, his compositions blend organic instrumentation with modern electronic soundscapes, crafting worlds that feel both familiar and otherworldly. His approach to film scoring centres on collaboration and storytelling, finding the musical thread that reveals a project’s emotional core. He strives to collaborate closely with filmmakers early in the pre-production process to allow for the scores to be interwoven into the narrative and world building of the film.

He has just released his debut album: Still Feeling and directed his first short film titled: You Look Like I Need A Pint.
